TikTok can feel quite intimidating BUT it is a great way to get your business out there! So below I've put together 5 tips for posting - enjoy!
Find Your Niche
What are you passionate about? When looking to create content it's good to do what you LIKE or you won't want to carry on creating content. Check out some topic ideas here;
Cooking, Dancing, Showing off your Business, Cinematography, Lifestyle Vlogging, Cleaning Sketches, Makeup Politics, and Education. If you're creating for your business, you want to make sure you're happy to do so - TikTok takes some work!
Look at Trends
When creating your content, see how you can incorporate your ideas into any trends going around. Even if it's a dancing trend you can make it work for you by including your niche. E.g. You're doing food videos so maybe a dance break mid-recipe or cook to the beat!
Scheduling
If you want to post regularly, setting aside time to film your content is the best strategy. Get your ideas together over the course of the week and film on a Saturday afternoon! (Or whenever is best)
Get Active
You need to be active and engaging! Commenting on other people's posts, engaging with other creators in your genre, look at collaboration opportunities or videos to ‘stitch’ to help drive up viewership.
Spend at least 30 mins a day doing this to help gain followers!
Utilise Storytelling
Everyone loves an inside look and a bit of drama! Doing storytimes or sharing struggles to do with your chosen genre can help drive viewership and increase followers! Just ensure not to mention any company or person by name, to be on the safe side!
