Does this sound familiar? You've been struggling to get together your posting for your social media and aren't always consistent or run out of ideas. Although a critical part of your business's overall plan and visibility, it's not always easy! In this guide I'll walk you through how to plan for the next month and even link my favourite resources - I'm that good to you ;)
Step 1. Write down your ideas for your Social Posts
Before I do anything, I write down all my ideas and even poll on my Instagram to see what my followers would appreciate! Don't forget to look around at other accounts you follow for ideas and inspiration, as well as through any hashtags that your business is relevant to.
Here's a little list to get you started;

What favourite Item or Service do you provide

Step 2. Shoot any Content you need
If your ideas include some new videos, photos or graphics, make sure to put aside time to shoot these with any wardrobe or prop changes you need! Write a list of all that needs doing as your 'Shoot' List. I tend to dedicate 1 day to shoot and curating the content for the month but some also prefer to do it on the go!
Step 3. Schedule in your Posts
Utilise a free social media planning tool such as Meta Business Suite (for Facebook and Instagram), Planable (my personal favourite) or Hootsuite. You can schedule at the best time for your audience, publish simultaneously on different platforms and even schedule your reels or stories. Make sure to utilise hashtags!
Step 4. Once published, keep an eye on things!
A mistake some people make it once the content is published, they don't do anything with it after! My recommendation is to engage with accounts that comment or share, encourage people to share through Insta/Facebook stories and work on building up your community by engaging with other accounts.
Reminder: If you want to change your schedule or have some exciting news - just change it up!
Well, there you have it! If you're still struggling, why not drop me an email? I do provide marketing services for Self-Employed and SMEs so I may be able to give you a hand!
